Personal Information Collection Statements

Our Group (or interchangeably "We" as hereinafter mentioning and collectively means SUNeVision Holdings Limited, its subsidiaries and associated companies, including Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited and its subsidiaries ("SHKP Group")) is committed to safeguard your privacy on-line. This statement is given in compliance with the requirements of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, to notify you of certain matters when collecting information from you. This statement may change from time to time, so please check back periodically. By registering and every time you log-in to our websites to use our services, you agree to be bound by this statement at that time in force and agree to us (i.e. any person or bodies corporate or division within our Group, including SHKP Group) using, disclosing and transferring your data for the purposes and in the manner set out herein.

Collection of Data

At the time of registration and at various times when using our websites, you may be asked to provide us with personally identifiable information, such as, your name, e-mail address, birth date, gender. You must ensure that the information you provide is accurate, true, current and complete. If this is not the case, or if we have reasonable grounds to suspect as such, we have the right to cancel your registration. It is necessary for us to collect your information for processing your registration and for providing to you the various services and activities offered on our websites. If you fail to provide the information requested, we will not be able to process your registration and to offer you the services and activities available on our websites.

Purpose and Use of Data

The information we collected will be used for the following purposes:

1. to compile aggregate statistics about our users;
2. to improve our marketing and promotional efforts, to analyse site usage, to improve our contents, services and product offerings and to customize our websites' content, layout and services;
3. to collect data for identity verification and records and to maintain contact lists for correspondence;
4. to provide call centre support, customer support and auction support (if you use our websites to conduct an auction);
5. to provide the goods and services introduced or mentioned on our websites;
6. to process your orders or transactions and payment instructions;
   
7. to operate internal control, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems and enforce our User Agreement¡F
8. to deliver information to you that we believe you are of interest such as targeted banners, new services and products and other promotions and marketing materials;
9. to contact you regarding administrative notices and communications relevant to your use of our websites;
10. to assist any person who is acquiring or participating in any contractual arrangements on our websites to evaluate such acquisition or participation.

We may also use your information to match user information with third party data (i.e. to compare two sets of personal data collected for different purposes). By registering or by logging-in, you consent to us carrying out this matching procedure when we deem it is necessary in order to provide our services.

In addition, we will also use your information in the following manner:

1. We will share much of our data, including your information, with our business partners, subsidiaries and associated companies, including SHKP Group.
   
2. In order to provide you with more information and services, we have arranged content providers and service providers to provide information and services. It may be necessary for us to share your information with these content providers and service providers.
   
3. Promotions that run on our websites may be sponsored by companies other than us or may be cosponsored by us and another company. Some or all data collected during a promotion may be shared with the sponsor.

If we add new features or services that might require the sharing of your personal information with an additional advertiser or sponsor, we will provide you with notice and the opportunity to opt-out to receive these offers.

Transfer of Data

Your information will not generally be disclosed or transferred to any other party in a form that would identify you except in the following circumstances:

1. We do offer a number of third party services from our websites (such as escrow services, authentication and verification procedure for payment), and we may use third party suppliers and service providers to facilitate our services. If you choose to use these optional services, we will, by necessity, provide your information to these suppliers or service providers offering such services.
2. In cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be violating our [terms and conditions of use/User Agreement] or may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) our or other users' rights or property, we may disclose information to the complainant.
3. We may disclose or access account information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it.
4. We may also disclose or access account information for administrative and other purposes that we deem necessary to maintain, service, and improve our products and services.
5. In the case where we decide to transfer our interest in this site (in part or in whole) or any of the services or products provided on this site, we will transfer your information to such person so that these services and products will continue to be available to you.

In addition, your information will be accessed by, disclosed or transferred to the following persons:

1. Our business partners, any person or bodies corporate or division within our Group and SHKP Group;
2. Any banking, financial or other institution with which you have or propose to have dealings;
3. Any debt collection or credit reference agency or similar provider of debt collection or credit information services to us;
4. Any other person reasonably requiring the same in order for us to carry out the purposes set out above.

Please note that our content providers, service providers, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors and other third parties who receive information from us have the right to use the information we provide them. As some of them have places of business outside Hong Kong, your information will be transferred out of Hong Kong and by registering or by logging-in, you agree to us transferring your information to these parties outside Hong Kong. These third parties adhere to their own privacy customs and policies and we have no control over their use of your information. Therefore, we are not liable to their use of your information.

Access to Data

You have the right to request access to and correction of information about you held by us. You may review and edit your account information at any time by using your user name and password. Your account can be deleted or deactivated at any time, but doing so will result in not being able to access any members-only area of our websites.

If you need to check whether we hold your personal information or if you wish to have access to your information and/or to correct any information relating to you which is inaccurate, please fill in the data access request formand e-mail it to our Data Protection Officer at dpo@red-dots.com. You agree to pay us the reasonable charges incurred by us in relation to administering and complying with your request.
