Outage Policy

At red-dots, we invest heavily to ensure the availability and reliability of our system. In the rare event of a system outage, any auctions affected, i.e. auctions that were scheduled to close during the outage, may be extended for a set period.

Different outage durations will result in an affected auction being extended for different set periods:

Duration of outage	Extension period
30 minutes or less	will not be extended
upwards of 30 minutes but less than 2 hours	will be extended by 4 hours
upwards of 2 hours	will be extended by 24 hours
